The KeyW Corporation Systems Engineer in United States


This position will participate in the full spectrum of System Engineering Processes for a core NSA program. The program is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of critical NSA systems worldwide.

A candidate for this position should have a working knowledge and expertise in the following areas:

Candidate must be a self-starter, not intimidated by asking questions and learning new concepts. Candidate should take ownership over processes and procedures required for program success. Requirements gathering, tracking and derivation (tracking an maintaining high level requirements while translating them into workable blocks for use by program development staff) Program/Project Management (working on all manner of tasks related to the overall schedule and performance of the Program) Software Development Management, processes and terms and able to articulate complex software development ideas to non-developers and with developers to understand requirements. Software development process and management tools (Jira, Gitlab, Confluence, etc.. Working knowledge of Software Defined Radios and SDR concepts Working knowledge and experience with SIGINT search, survey, and processing from National and Tactical platforms.


  • Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Requirements Engineering and requirements management tools such as DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System).

  • Formal training or experience on agile engineering methodologies, processes, and technologies.

  • SE for SIGINT systems on LINUX and Windows Platforms; SE Experience with SIGINT systems; experience with VLF/HF/VHF/UHF Signal Collection Systems such as or similar to GLAIVE; experience with HF/VHF/UHF DF theory/techniques and systems such as BORESIGHT and GLAIVE.

  • Signal Collection techniques and systems, Real-time processing, computing, control, and digital signal processing, Electrical power measurement and specs (AC/DC), Sys Eng experience, sys timing analysis, sys throughput and bandwidth est., and computer software apps and techniques, Creating Test Procedures, coordinating eng activities and testing/installing h/w, Specifying, evaluating, installing, maintaining equip, Writing sys documentation (CONOPs and other documents).
