We are searching for a highly motivated commercially-minded Data Scientist to join our Growth and Sales team and help us unlock the full potential of our data. You will leverage your skills in machine learning, statistics, and programming to tackle critical business challenges and build impactful models within a rapid development cycle.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and deploy production-ready machine learning models, ensuring they are commercially viable and aligned with business objectives.

  • Clean, wrangle, and transform large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and usability for model building and deployment.

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis efficiently to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for commercial advantage.

  • Communicate insights and recommendations effectively, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences, with a focus on commercial impact and rapid decision-making.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in operations and sales to translate business needs into actionable data solutions that drive tangible commercial results.

  • Own the entire model lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, and evaluation. Continuously assess model performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Be prepared to rebuild and redeploy models as necessary to ensure they remain effective and deliver ongoing commercial value.

  • Ensure through pragmatism that progress and delivery pace is maintained.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, continuously seeking ways to leverage these advancements for rapid and robust model development and commercial gain.

  • Mentor junior colleagues, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth within the data science team.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or relevant work experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience applying data science and machine learning techniques in a commercial environment, with a proven track record of delivering production-ready models within tight deadlines.

  • Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and evaluation is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to quantify the commercial impact of your data-driven solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset and focus on achieving business objective.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python and R.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
