Join the JETS II team as we help NASA with its digital transformation. You'll be part of the team developing the 21st Century Digital Engineering and Product Life Cycle Management system based on PTC's Creo/Windchill product line (known as JEDII). The selected candidate will join our team with JETS II Teammate company, McLaurin Aerospace.
As a Junior Windchill Administrator, you will:
Work with the NASA/JETS II team of engineering users and Windchill developers to:
Define user requirements for customizations to the Windchill products
Develop and update governing software requirements documents for the JEDII (Windchill) system
Architect solutions to user needs as well as to overall system implementation (e.g. user controls, workflows, etc.)
Implement, integrate, and deploy an enterprise management system with an emphasis on engineering data information infrastructure that consists of design models and all associated engineering documentation
This will include:
Writing requirements
Communicating and working with users and user groups on the true functionality needed as part of the customization/implementation team
Working with various engineering representatives on defining their specific areas. Assisting in the planning and completion of all interactions with the Cloud vendor and deployment activities.
Perform other duties as required

Requires a HS diploma and 10 years of experience or BS in Engineering Technology or related field and 5 years of experience..
Experience with:
Technical engineering drawings
Digital engineering / PLM system requirements definition
PTC Windchill - wtParts
Change Management Processes
Document management systems
Database systems
User account management
Workflows and processes
Application testing and data validation
Ticketing systems
Ability to research answers individually via online search, vendor docs, etc.
Eagerness to learn and grow in Windchill admin skills and possibly database skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent customer service skills
User requirements definition
Detail Oriented
Excellent organizational skills
Requisition Preferences:
In lieu of a degree, this position requires 10-15 years of experience in a related field including Windchill experience
NASA/JSC experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of NASA processes and standards a plus
Experience presenting User Training a plus
Creo a plus
Help Desk Support is a plus

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
