Overview

KeyW Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Development (BD) / Capture Executive to lead near-term and longer range growth initiatives in the Intelligence Community (IC). This position requires an active TS/SCI Security Clearance to be considered.

Responsibilities

The Senior BD / Capture Executive, will foster customer, agency, and addressable market intimacy; owning customer and partner relationships (with support from operational leads). Create and populate pipeline to support strategic growth.The candidate will be responsible for promoting and fostering new business development opportunities with existing customers while expanding and growing the business base by developing new customer relationships. The Senior BD / Capture Executive develops, manages, and maintains business development strategies and forecasts; develop growth roadmaps and priorities, identify new opportunities, and fostering partner and vendor relationships, identifying and crafting technical solutions, and teaming with key players to support successful proposal awards.

  • Support, communicate, reinforce and represent the mission, values and culture of the organization

  • Support the Company's short and long-term strategic growth initiatives under the direction of senior leadership

  • Visit and prospect, new, and existing customers, teaming partners, and vendors on a regular basis

  • Perform competitive market analysis. Monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs. Formulate and exercise marketing plans and programs, both short and long range to ensure achievement of financial objectives, and product and services innovation

  • Lead Strategic Captures

  • Assist in the development of the planning, designing and implementing of business plans, such as, capture plans, proposal activities

  • Work closely with other departments and/or functions (e.g. Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, etc.) to coordinate customer activities, and market strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering or related discipline 25 years’ experience in delivering solutions to the IC (or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities)

  • Strong interpersonal verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Understanding of US Government Contracting and budgeting processes

  • Excellent planning and organization, project and time management skills

  • Ability to work on extremely complex problems

  • Advanced knowledge of IC markets, products, and technology
