The KeyW Corporation Systems Administrator in Annapolis Junction, Maryland


KeyW has current opening for a Systems Administrator to support one of our subcontracts. The SA will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoos, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.


Minimum 10 years of related experience

Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.


Experience with Linux (CentOS/RHEL administration or similar *NIX)

Experience with STE requirements/tools/teams

Experience with customer Information System Security processes and tools (SSPs/ATO/IAVAs etc)

Self-motivated and independent worker

Willing to learn and improve in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Must have a TS/SCI with polygraph applicable for this customer.


Experience scripting against REST APIs, databases, and CSV files

Experience with network design, security, and automation

Experience with DevOps tech stacks and modern CM and CI/CD tools (especially Ansible)

Experience with a scripting language (Python/bash)
